Chelsea Tests the Jersey Shore Waters
What doesn't sound fun about a "festival of dumbasses"?
Aka, what Chelsea Handler called Jersey Shore before actually sitting down and getting to know the charmingly comfortable-in-their-own-skin trio of Snooki, Pauly D and The Situation.
After marveling at Snooki's curves (and her ability to take a punch) and stroking the perfectly gelled pillow on top of Pauly's head, the Chelsea Lately host started asking the tough questions.
"This should be called New York, or New York and Rhode Island, actually," she pointed out after learning that Sitch and Snooki are from New York and Pauly hails from Providence, R.I.
But Chelsea, being a born-and-bred Jersey girl herself, knows where all the good GTL action is.
"I wish I could have done something like this when I was 19 or 20," she lamented. "Now it would be a little bit sad."
