Charlie Sheen Makes Nice With Ashton Kutcher: "I Was Disrespectful to a Man Doing His Best"

Is Anger Management star Charlie Sheen finally learning to manage his anger?

Signs point to a faint "yes" after the combustible actor initially trashed his Two and a Half Men replacement, Ashton Kutcher, last week to TMZ: "I'm tired of lying," he said. "I'm tired of pretending the show doesn't suck...I'm tired of pretending Ashton doesn't suck."

Today, however, Sheen seems to be singing a different tune…

On his website, Sheen wrote:

"Dear Ashton- My bad. I was disrespectful to a man doing his best. I got excited and threw you into a crossfire. The rest of my statement I stand behind. You, however, deserve better. Safety in your travels good sir."

He then signed the note as, "The 'late' Charlie Harper," his character on the show.

OK, so it was a sorta-apology—he couldn't help but take a swipe at the show and creator Chuck Lorre in the aftermath of last year's Sheen-fueled fiasco. (Last week, he also told TMZ, "I just feel bad for [Kutcher]…he's saddled with such bad writing.")

But it's great to see everybody trying to play nice, yes?

Sheen is set to begin shooting his new FX series Anger Management March 22. Here's hoping the star continues to be on his best behavior!
