Charlie Sheen Getting Pelted With Garbage Means Nothing but Winning

Actor discovers what the Juggalos consider a warm welcome while attending a music festival for the Insane Clown Posse fans over the weekend

Charlie Sheen's winning streak is still alive, even if it's not exactly obvious to the common observer.

The actor seemingly got less than a warm welcome when he appeared onstage at the Insane Clown Posse's Gathering of the Juggalos music festival over the weekend, an event not exactly known for its hospitality. (Just ask Tila Tequila.)

At least, being pelted with garbage and being booed offstage didn't look like a warm welcome to us, but the ICP folks and Sheen's rep are certainly feeling all warm and fuzzy about what went down.

So, what happened to the Chuckster?

First of all, those weren't boos.

"Charlie did not get booed off of the stage," Sheen's rep assures E! News. "The Juggalos were chanting 'whoop- whoop,' which is a show of love. Charlie Sheen did well in front of the Juggalos."

Well, if he's going to do well somewhere...

"It was a huge response. He was tremendously received," the rep adds. "There is no greater compliment to have garbage thrown at an artist. The crowd didn't want him to leave."

Sheen was certainly all excitement prior to the event, tweeting his anticipation: "Gathering of The Juggalos When I say Tech you say 9..! These guys blew my mind Do not walk… Run to get their new album #tech9."

"Big shout out to Psychopathic Records," he added. "Billy Bill, Kodi Sparkman, Joe @ Joey..! ICP Whoop Whoop #Twiztid thank you..!"

But maybe even Sheen wasn't in on the Juggalo joke when he walked onstage to a seemingly hostile crowd.

"I feel like I'm back in Detroit," he cracked, referring to his infamous trainwreck of a first night onstage earlier this year. And when you watch the footage, it certainly sounds like the fans are out for blood.

"Damn," he told the crowd when the junk started flying. "I should've worn my f--king goggles. Before I get impaled, I'm gonna leave the stage."

But whoop-whoop, E! News has heard that Sheen has already been invited to appear at another Juggalo event in the near future.

Sheen capped off his signaturely stellar weekend with a trip to Phoenix's Chase Field, where he took batting practice before the Arizona Diamondbacks faced off against the New York Mets in anticipation of reprising his Wild Thing role in another Major League sequel.

"Epic day in Phoenix! Chase Field @bobmaron, @rickcalamaro Todd Zeile & Tony Todd..! Thank you Derrick Hall & Luis Gonzales!! Go @Dbacks !!" he tweeted.
