There's at least one (rumored) bride-to-be that isn't ready to show off the bling.

Because even though Justin Timberlake's grandma confirmed that J.T. was indeed ready to tie the knot to longtime on-and-off GF Jessica Biel, Jess hit the red carpet solo last night for the W Magazine Best Performances Issue and Golden Globe Awards celebration at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.

So was Jess sporting some serious bling on her ring finger?!

Nope! In fact, Jessica—who donned a floor-length sparkly gold number—wasn't wearing any rings at all last night.

You crafty babe, you. Keeping everyone guessing until you're ready to make some sort of splashy announcement. And Jess hardly gave anyone time to ask about all the engagement hoopla, as she smiled for photogs then dashed past the waiting press inside the Chateau.

A tactic similar to the one that The Help star Emma Stone took.

Emma spent a few minutes signing autographs and taking pictures with fans across the street before hitting the black carpet. Wearing a peach-and black-dress decked out with jewels, Emma smiled for the pictures then tried to slip inside unnoticed.

Uh, not happening, Em! She laughed off some press questions as she quickly walked the rest of the carpet. What the heck, Ms. Stone?! Are you worried we're going to ask about BF Andrew Garfield?

Well, we probably were…but only because we heart Starfield so much!

Other celebs out at the swanky bash were:

True Blood hunk Ryan Kwanten looked quite dapper in a black suit and spent a good portion of the end of the night chitchatting outside the Chateau with Thor star Chris Hemsworth. Funnily enough, vampy costar Alexander Skarsgård dashed down the driveway past Ry at one point and the dudes didn't even seem to notice each other.

Tom Cruise was one of the first celebs to arrive, but opted to skip out on the carpet experience entirely! Tom's driver took him in through the back and parked right next to the door into the Chateau so that Tom could slip right inside with (almost) no one noticing.

Hecklers galore! Kirsten Dunst chose to walk up the driveway of the WeHo hot spot instead of posing on the carpet and roused much booing from the hopeful photogs. At the end of the night, while she waited for the valet, The Help star Viola Davis also faced some yelling from the autograph hounds across the way who weren't thrilled that the Golden Globe nominee had to dip out of the event without visiting their side of the street.

James Franco and John Mayer both made impromptu appearances at Chateau Marmont. James arrived first with a green trucker hat pulled low, toting a backpack and laughed as he ran down the drive while photogs snapped away. John arrived later in the night, rockin' long hair and a brown jacket, and seemed far less pleased at all the attention. Hope you're feeling better, Johnny!
