Carrie Underwood's Teary Concert Tribute Was for Driver Killed in Crash
Carrie Underwood isn't one to forget a name.
Her emotional performance of "Temporary Home" last Saturday at Foxwoods Casino's MGM Grand Theater in Connecticut was dedicated to a Kansas truck driver who was killed in a fiery crash while hauling equipment for Underwood's show.
Robert Allen O'Bleness died March 20 after losing control of his tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 in Stonington. The vehicle slid down an embankment and caught fire.
Connecticut State Police just released his identity today.
Underwood choked up several times during "Temporary Home," including at one point where she spoke the words "and we're all just passing through."
