Carrie Underwood: Will She Sink or Swim in Soul Surfer?
When we first heard that Carrie Underwood was going to be making her movie debut playing church youth counselor Sarah Hill in Soul Surfer, we have to admit we were a wee bit skeptical.
But after seeing this new trailer for the film about 19-year-old Bethany Hamilton (played by AnnaSophia Robb), who lost her arm in a shark attack off the coast of Hawaii, we're, well, still a wee bit skeptical. Although, in Carrie's defense, that's only because she pops up oh-so-briefly and is heard delivering just one line (albeit a pretty heartfelt one) throughout the entire clip above.
The film itself, though, does look pretty well done, in particular, AnnaSophia's arm. Or, should we say, lack thereof.
