Yes, it's true. George Clooney has yet another gig. Leonardo DiCaprio is gonna get even tougher. And someone out there with money to burn still believes in Josh Hartnett. Cool, right? I mean this is freaking hot-ass news. It's creating a fire in my...um, soul.
Here's a breakdown of the movies and the accompanying heat storm.

Star Stud (Maybe): George Clooney
Stud Vehicle: Escape from Tehran
Fire Forecast: HOLY MOLY—I'm on fire!
Yay first of all because this is a dramedy set in 1979. Yay second of all because Grant Heslov and Clooney are cowriting, and they are a great freaking team. Yay third of all because the story is about the CIA using a fake movie project to smuggle hostages out of Tehran. It sounds very Coen brothers to me, and it also sounds like we might get to see Clooney in tight pants. Yesss.
Star Stud: Leonardo DiCaprio
Stud Vehicle: Untitled Michael Mann Project
Fire Forecast: Oh, oh—it's getting even hotter!
I am going to immediately start trying to get my hands on this script, about a detective on the MGM lot in the 1930s who is responsible for quelling celebrity scandals. This stuff still totally goes on. It's always fascinating. And if Leo has his hair slicked back and there's a scene in which he gets it on with the hot dead starlet whose murder he's investigating, I will be doubly happy.

Star Stud: Josh Hartnett
Stud Vehicle: I Come with the Rain
Fire Forecast: Thank God. Someone finally brought the hose and put this fire out.
Thank you, Mr. Hartnett. The idea of you starring in yet another semimystery—this one called I Come with the Rain—more than cools me off. Dude, I know you like to wear cool suits, but you should be raiding Justin Timberlake's script cabinet. He's reading—and in a lot of cases scoring—the roles that would so help you out. If anyone does care about Hartnett, they should know that Rain takes place in Hong Kong and his character is hunting down a mysterious person who has the power to heal with a simple touch. No, I am not kidding. No, this is not a remake of Powder.
