George Michael and cars just don't mix. Neither do George Michael and clean rap sheets.
The perpetually-troubled British songbird's official record took another hit this morning, when he was formally charged with possession of cannabis and driving under the influence of "drink or drugs."
The dual charges stem from his headline-grabbing accident last month, when a photography storefront in his posh neighborhood of Hampstead lost control of itself and crashed into the front of his car (maybe it was the other way around).
The 47-year-old is due back in court Aug. 24.

Jennifer Garner Has a Gas Playing Good Samaritan
Sometimes celebrities are just like us. Sometimes they're a little more considerate. Jennifer Garner falls into the latter classification.
Earlier this week, Ben Affleck's better half (of five years!) took time out from her exhaustive tour of Westside farmers' markets to lend a helping hand to a couple of gas-challenged motorists stranded on the side of the road.
After refueling herself at a lunch with pals in Brentwood, the actress did the same for her neighbors' car, driving to a service station and returning to provide the two women with enough petrol to send them on their merry way.
Hopefully, their merry way included a stop at a gas station.

Ashlee and Pete Wentz's Son in Minor Car Accident

Everyone left scratch-free. The car wasn't quite so lucky.
Bronx Wentz, the 1½-year-old son of Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, was unscathed following a car accident in Los Angeles' Coldwater Canyon today.
"It was a minor fender-bender and everyone is fine," a rep for the couple told E! News.
There are no details yet on the cause of the accident, though neither star parent was in the vehicle at the time—rather it was Bronx's nanny who was behind the wheel. But it certainly didn't take long for the concerned parents to hightail it over to the scene of the accident...

While some of Tiger Woods' alleged mistresses are busy taking turns telling nasty stories, Jaimee Grubbs was busy driving.
Only, that wasn't really any better.
The 24-year-old Tool Academy alum was arrested yesterday in West Hollywood on three suspended driver's license warrants, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. Bail was set at $30,309. She posted the amount early Thursday morning, presumably without the assistance of a certain golfer. A friend gave her a lift home.
The sometimes cocktail waitress was picked up around 5 p.m. as she tooled around in her 2004 Ford Mustang around and taken into custody when they ran her plates.
After spending the end of 2009 as one of Woods' more vocal alleged lovers—she was one of the first to show off dirty text messages, after all—Grubbs since become (thankfully) more quiet. Perhaps we now know why.

Nick Hogan Settles With Crash Victim

Nick Hogan may not always know best, but he definitely knows relief today.
The son of wrestler Hulk Hogan can finally leave his 2007 street-racing car crash in the past as he and the family of John Graziano have reached a settlement in their civil suit.
Graziano was riding shotgun in Hogan's Toyota Supra at the time of the accident that caused him "to lose a portion of his brain, to be confined to a wheelchair and to be in a minimally conscious state requiring full time care," according to court documents.
