Cannes Alert: Minogue, Stone and Clooney at AmfAR!

The big, megastar amfAR benefit is taking place right now at the Cannes Film Festival.

Here's what I'm hearing:

Kylie Minogue just got up on stage for an impromptu performance. She not only sang "Locomotion," I'm told someone paid $100,000 for her to belt out her hit "Can't Get You Out of My Head."

"She brought everyone to their feet," one partygoer just emailed me. "She rocks."

Sharon Stone is offering to sing in someone's lap for a minimum bid of $10,000. The place is packed with boldfaced names—George Clooney, Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Matt Damon, Ellen Barkin, Rose McGowan, with her Grindhouse director and boyfriend Robert Rodriguez, Elle Macpherson, Claudia Schiffer, Don Cheadle and Michelle Yeoh.

I'm told that boots covered in Swarovski crystals and worn by MAC Cosmetics' Viva Glam gal Dita Von Teese went for $65,000 after she performed in them.

Meanwhile, I hear Jessica Simpson had a slight wardrobe malfunction during one of the parties she hit while she was promoting her upcoming flick, Major Movie Star.

"She made a huge scene getting her 'girls' back in her dress," an eyewitness reported. "She flashed the whole room as she tried to tuck them back in."

Luckily, it wasn't a huge public display of her assets because the surprise flash happened in a women's restroom.
