Cage Locks Up New Bride

Nicolas Cage has cast himself as the family man--again.

Just two months after finalizing his protracted split with Lisa Marie Presley, Cage married 20-year-old former sushi waitress Alice Kim in a private ceremony Friday in Northern California, the actor's publicist confirmed to E!

Cage and Kim met over sushi in February, back when she was serving it up, and the superstar was eating it up.

It is the third marriage for Cage; the first for Kim.

Cage divorced second wife Presley in May. While Presley declared their August 2002 nuptials a "big mistake," they dragged their feet to end the union. It took them just three and a half months to split, but another year and a half to divorce.

Cage previously was married to actress Patricia Arquette. Like the Presley affair, the marriage to Arquette lasted longer than the actual relationship.

Cage and Arquette wed in 1995, split nine months later, then reunited, then split, then filed for divorce, then unfiled for divorce, then filed for divorce again. Perhaps out of sheer exhaustion, they really and truly divorced in 2001.

The Cage-Kim romance was an affair in the tradition of Britney Spears, the recently re-engaged bride-to-be...and Nicolas Cage (who proposed to Arquette the first time he met her--at the time, she declined).

Within weeks of their first meeting, Kim was Cage's Oscar date. Months later, British tabs were panting with reports that The Rock man had proposed and presented Kim, then 19, with--what else?--a nice rock.

With Kim turning 20, Cage will only have one teenager in the house, Weston, 13, his son by former girlfriend Kristina Fulton.

An Oscar winner for 1995's Leaving Las Vegas, Cage will next be seen on screen in November in the action-adventure National Treasure.
