NCIS Actor Arrested for Battery

David Dayan Fisher was booked by Hollywood Police Department tonight after allegedly striking his neighbor

Update Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 @ 10:15 a.m.: Fisher bailed out of jail at 11:05 p.m. Thursday night shortly after posting a $50,000 bond.

David Dayan Fisher, best known for his TV roles in NCIS and 24 and as the villain in National Treasure, was booked on felony battery charges for allegedly attacking his neighbor, the LAPD's Hollywood Station confirms to E! News.

According to Hollywood police, Fisher was involved in a dispute today with his neighbor over whether some swimming pool towels had been hung up.

The actor allegedly struck and choked the victim, who is currently in the hospital going through tests.

Fisher, meanwhile, remains in jail. His rep has not yet responded to request for comment.
