Burke Not Wild On Hubby

Brooke Burke's marriage is busting up.

The former host of E!'s Wild On and her husband, plastic surgeon Garth Fisher, have decided to call it quits.

The couple had been together since 1998 and married in 2001. They have two children, Sierra Sky, three, and Neriah, five.

"Although our careers have taken us in different directions the past few years, we have a great deal of respect for one another and remain committed to raising our two children together," they said in a joint statement.

The split is reportedly mutual and amicable. Burke and Fisher said that they were "saddened" by the breakup but would remain close for the sake of the kids.

Burke, 33, remains best known for her 1999-2002 stint as E!'s resident globe-trotting party girl on Wild On (Tara Reid is the new host of the recently resurrected series), and she also fronted the cable net's countdown series Rank. (E! Online is a division of E! Networks.) She is currently cohosting CBS' struggling summer reality entry, Rock Star: INXS.

A former model and beauty-pageant-type, Burke has shown off her assets in calendars and magazine spreads. According to her Website, the pinup shot a Burger King commercial this month with famed photographer-music-video director David LaChapelle.

Her soon-to-be-ex-husband, meanwhile, holds down a booming nip/tuck practice in Beverly Hills and is featured on ABC's Extreme Makeover. He has also talked about his craft on shows like The Today Show and Oprah.
