Bruce Springsteen partirà alla volta del Tennessee.
Il grande rocker si esibirà insieme alla E Street Band all’edizione di quest’anno del Bonnaroo Arts & Music Festival, che si terrà a Manchester, in Tennessee, dall’11 al 14 giugno.
Si tratterà del suo unico concerto nord americano previsto per il 2009, dal momento che Springsteen e la band il primo di aprile partiranno per una tournée mondiale, con lo scopo di promuovere il loro ultimo album, Working on a Dream.
Anche un altro gruppo che si esibirà al Bonnaroo Festival andrà presto in tour. Stiamo parlando dei Phish: Trey Anastasio e compagni si erano divisi nel 2004, ma l’anno scorso si sono ritrovati nuovamente sul palco insieme.
Fra gli altri numerosi artisti che daranno sfoggio delle proprie doti canore a Manchester vi saranno: i Beastie Boys, i Nine Inch Nails, i Wilco, Erykah Badu, Elvis Costello, Santogold, Snoop Dogg, Jenny Lewis, i TV on the Radio, i Band of Horses, Al Green, Merle Haggard, i Ting Tings, David Byrne, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, i Decemberists e Lucinda Williams.
