Brody Jenner, would you like some Christmas crow to go along with your egg nog?

The Bromance dude offered up a humble mea culpa to Joe Francis after falsely accusing the Girls Gone Wild boss of attacking Jenner's girlfriend at the time, Jayde Nicole, following a run-in at an L.A. hot spot.

Here's what he had to say.

"Dear Joe, I would like to acknowledge for the record that the media reports that you beat up Jayde Nicole at the Guys & Dolls nightclub in August 2009 were completely inaccurate," writes Jenner in the letter obtained by E! News. "The entire incident was an unfortunate misunderstanding and I am sorry for the whole thing."

We imagine Francis grinning with delight after reading this next part.

"I have always known you to be a gentleman and I'm very sorry that you were wrongly accused that night," the sometime reality star continued. "On another note, please accept my congratulations and best wishes on your recent marriage."

(Francis recently tied the knot with his entertainment reporter gal-pal Christina McLarty.)

Shortly after the incident happened, Brody took to his Twitter page, claiming the boob operator beat up his gal-pal and calling him "a piece of s--t."

Sources told E! News at the time that the altercation started when Jayde poured a drink on Joe after he supposedly got too close with one of her friends. A scuffle ensued and had to be broken up by security.

A month later, Nicole sued Francis for $1 million over the brawl, which she said left her bruised and battered. After Jenner added his name to the suit,  Francis countersued in October saying he had only acted in self-defense. He also accused the duo of battery and assault as well as slander and libel for allegedly lying to a paparazzo about the incident.
