Brittany Murphy's Mom Writing Tell-All Book on Daughter

In memory of what would have been Brittany Murphy's 33rd birthday today, the late star's mom has announced that she'll be penning a bio about her daughter.
"This book will be my way of celebrating and honoring her extraordinary life and career," Sharon Murphy said in a statement sent to E! News. "Brittany was a kind, loving person who enjoyed each day, she was my life."

The actress, who starred in such films as Clueless, 8 Mile and Don't Say a Word, died last December after going into full cardiac arrest at her L.A. home. An autopsy later determined that a combination of pneumonia and prescription drugs were the cause.
"I am looking forward to everyone reading the accurate account about my daughter, her life, loves and career," Sharon added. "A portion of the proceeds that I receive from the book will be donated to charity."
