Brit's Behavior Could Come Back to Bite Her...Hard

K-Fed attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan filed a motion asking the LAPD to appear at a custody hearing Monday to explain what went down at Britney's Studio City house Jan. 3. Sources say he'll be asking the court to keep Spears cut off from her kids until April in the new light of that night. (Get all the details in our news story.)

But it seems TMZ has beaten him to the punch.

According to a shocking new report, the site claims the singer screamed at the cops after her three-hour standoff, during which time she was locked in a room with Jayden James.

"What the f--k are you doing in my house? I know who you are," said Britney. "I don't need your f--king help."

According to TMZ's law enforcement source, her mood went from laughter to rage to sobs, and at one point she hollered, "You will do as I say."

And when cops tried to cover Britney with a sweater before taking her outside, she screamed, "Don't cover me up. I'm f--king hot." (We're guessing she was talking sex appeal and not body temperature?)

The police also took statements from Brit's so-called manager, Sam Lutfi, that she had been behaving erratically recently—even going so far as to buy a Malibu house on a whim and then changing her mind as the furniture was being moved in.

A nanny also claims Brit would get all dressed up just to parade around the house and then get changed again, which, compared to everything else, sounds relatively normal.

Expect to hear even more wild tales when the boys in blue actually do make their appearance Monday. Unlike Britney, we're pretty sure showing up for court dates is in the job description.
