Britney Spears Calls Jason Trawick Her Husband—but Does She Have the Permission?!

Oops…she did it again.

Sans umbrella in hand, of course. But our girl Britney Spears did make a small slip-up on KISS FM U.K. radio last week, calling boyfriend Jason Trawick her husband and gushing about their family time with her two sons.

So is there something preventing Brit from tying the knot? And why oh why is Papa Spears horning in on her tour?

Because even though Brit is doing better than ever, Daddy Spears is still her guardian, and manager Larry Rudolph is rewarding him for all his hard work as Brit's tour manager, a position for which he has yet to receive compensation.

And while we totally agree that her go-to guardian should get a few bucks for all his dedication, we have to wonder when Brit will finally take control of her own life, especially with her 30th birthday approaching in December.

But while 30 probably marks no slowing down in the life of Ms. Spears, it may mark the year to give marriage another go—a decision which both Jason and Brit will presumably turn to Jamie for permission.

Thirty and asking for daddy's permission? Seems a bit odd, right?

Well, no, from a conservatorship stance, as a guardianship generally governs all contracts, including marriage—meaning Brit most likely can't wed without her father's OK.

And with the recent birth of ex-hubby Kevin Federline's child, we're thinking Brit may have the desire to have baby number three, or perhaps at least wedding number two (and a half with the Vegas stint), if her most recent music video foreshadows the future.

For now, it seems like Brit is finally surrounding herself with people who have her best interest at heart (taking any hints, LiLo?), but we would still love to see Brit take another walk down the aisle.

Whether she's bald or with a snake in hand, our favorite Femme Fatale is sure to make the wedding a kill.
