Britney Most Searched; K-Fed Not So Much
As Kevin Federline continues his search for validation, Web surfers continue searching for Britney Spears.
For the fifth time in six years, the latter topped Yahoo's list of most searched-for topics, proving that public interest in the panty-free lifestyle is even greater than one might suspect.
Other hot commodities as tracked by the search engine were World Wrestling Entertainment, which ranked second, and Shakira, who ranked third.
Jessica Simpson came in fourth, and Spears' new BFF, Paris Hilton, rounded out the top five.
Spears also topped the celebrity search list, while her sons Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline came in third and fourth, respectively, in celebrity baby searches.
The pop star's estranged husband, on the other hand, did not show up on any of Yahoo's top 10 lists.
However, Federline did make an appearance at a Beverly Hills steakhouse Tuesday, where he dined with his attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan.
As he exited the eatery, Federline spoke with E! News about his postsplit activities, stating that he was "taking it all in stride." (For exclusive video of Federline's interview, check out The Vine.)
"I got a lot of options on the table right now," Federline said. "I am weighing my options right now and seeing where I am going to go."
Among those options is a proposed reality show, though Federline admitted the project was still in the early stages.
The aspiring rapper also said that he was not bothered by negative press reports.
"I don’t take it too seriously," he said. "Those are people who don’t really know who I am."
So, who is he?
"I am a family man and that is me, that is the truth, that is all honesty, that is what it is," replied the father of four, who is seeking full custody of his children with Spears.
With the New Year fast approaching, Federline told E! News that his resolutions include being "a little bit wiser" in the future.
At least that one shouldn't be too difficult to achieve.
