Britain's Got Talent Sob Story: An Imperfect 10
Look out, Susan Boyle, Britain's Got Talent may have a new sentimental favorite. Little 10-year-old Hollie Steel looked like she was about to crash and burn on the U.K. TV competition when she forgot the lyrics and started bawling her eyes out during "Edelweiss."
But after the producers told her there was no time for a do-over, who should leap to her rescue but none other than American Idol's designated ogre, Simon Cowell. Steel bounced back with a stellar version of the Sound of Music classic and made it through to the last round.
Belter Boyle might be well advised to consider preparing another curse-spouting rant, in case this teary tyke usurps the Cats-loving singer's anticipated win in the finals.
