Bridget's Baby a Moynahan

Bridget Moynahan isn't adding to the Brady bunch, but there was still plenty of Tom's name to go around.

Although she utilized the NFL star's first and middle names, the actress has officially opted to give her infant son her own surname rather than that of his father, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, according to the child's birth certificate, which was filed Friday in Los Angeles County. (View the certificate.)

John Edward Thomas Moynahan was born Aug. 22. His mom and dad, Thomas Edward Patrick Brady, dated for three years before splitting up in early December.

The three-time Super Bowl winner, who has been romancing supermodel Gisele Bündchen for much of this year, was present for the birth but is now in the thick of football season, making it much harder to jet back to L.A. as often as he'd like.

"I'd love to be out there all the time, year-round, but it's hard to make that a reality," Brady, who's based in Boston, told People last month. "I live here. But I'll start lobbying for off days throughout the year."

Or he could always send a Patriots cameraman to capture some of the action.

Next up for Moynahan, who starred in the short-lived ABC drama Six Degrees and before that was best known for playing the real Other Woman, Mr. Big's wife Natasha, in Sex & the City, is the comedy Noise, costarring Tim Robbins and William Hurt.
