Bret Michaels Suffers Setback

Bret Michaels is still waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel.
Tests performed on the hospitalized rocker show that the brain hemorrhage he suffered last Thursday has caused a sodium deficiency that leads to seizures, a rep for Michaels wrote on the rocker's Facebook page, which his camp has been using to keep fans abreast of his condition.
The technical term for Michael's condition is hyponatremia.
The 47-year-old Poison frontman and suddenly beloved Celebrity Apprentice contestant remains in the ICU at an undisclosed hospital, where his condition remains critical yet stable.
Medical theories abound, but doctors have still not managed to locate the source of his bleeding. They've reportedly found evidence that Michaels suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, which is an aneurysm in one of the blood vessels that causes bleeding in the fluid-filled space at the base of the brain.
"Michaels remains under 24-hour observation in the ICU and is in positive spirits,"
his rep said in a statement.
"He is responding well to tests and treatments. Even though today was a minor setback, doctors remain hopeful for a full recovery and plan to release more specific information next Monday."
