Bret Michaels "Remains in Critical Condition," Former Flames Show Support

No news is good news, right? Sadly when it comes to updates on Bret Michaels' life-threatening health woes, we wish that were the case.

Responding to conflicting reports in the hours since news of the rocker's brain hemorrhage broke, a rep for Michaels on Saturday thanked fans for their "support, thoughts & concern."

"There are several incorrect reports on Bret's condition. Bret remains in critical condition at an undisclosed location," read the statement from Michaels Entertainment." Further tests are being ran and information will be updated in the coming days."

Also showing support for the current Celebrity Apprentice star are a few of his former ladyloves, including his onetime fiancée and Rock of Love's first champ...

Saturday morning Jes Rickleff, winner of Bret's heart in season one of VH1's Rock of Love, told E! News: "My thoughts and prayers are with Bret and his family at this time and I pray for a quick and safe recovery."

Michaels' ex-fiancée Susie Hatton also discussed his health troubles with E! News, saying she's spoken to his father who told her doctors are still doing tests to determine what caused the hemorrhage and if his longtime battle with diabetes played into it.

"He's a fighter. He's strong and for the most part, healthy," Hatton says of the 47-year-old singer, who she was exclusive with from 1988 to 1993. "I think they're anticipating a full recovery."

Hatton told E! News she's not sure where Michaels is currently admitted or if his diabetes did in fact play into his current condition, but Bret himself hinted just this week that something has been off since his emergency appendectomy earlier this month.

"I'm feeling right about in the middle right now on a scale of 1 to 10," he wrote on his Fancast blog. "I'm not 100% yet, but I'm sure as hell not where I was when it happened. When your appendix ruptures if feels like what it would feel if you're on the losing end of a knife fight, so it takes a bit to recover from that."

For now, fans of the star can only continue to hope for the best. And we most certainly are...
