And the award for most outrageous outfit of the night goes to...Jackson Rathbone!

The Twilight Saga vampire and quirky fashionisto rocked a crushed red velvet suit to the Breaking Dawn: Part 1 premiere. Yes, you read that right.

Although our Fashion Police weren't so hot on the unusual choice, Jackson dished to E! News that when he saw the suit it was love at first bite sight.

"It's a Dolce & Gabbana suit," the 26-year-old star revealed. "It's something that my stylist...picked out
and I fell in love with it. They [the designers] go as crazy as I like to go. We have fun with the way we dress."

But does Jackson feel confident he'd beat costars Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner in a fashion face-off?

"I don't know about topping or upstaging," Jasper Hale's alter ego said. "I just wear stuff that I'm comfortable in and I can fall asleep in at the end of the night—and trust me, I'm gonna curl up in this."

Guess there's no late-night feeding frenzy for this vampire if he doesn't want to ruin his suit!
