Brad and Angelina's Thanksgiving Travels

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie opted to gorge on culture rather than turkey this Thanksgiving.

The globetrotting duo spent the holiday in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where they engaged in pastimes such as helmetless motorcycle riding and orphanage visiting, according to local papers.

Pitt and Jolie were photographed astride a scooter Thursday, as they toured the city formerly known as Saigon. When asked by a reporter if he was nervous about navigating the crowded city center, Pitt replied, "There will be no problem."

The couple later dined at a popular restaurant that had been converted from a temple. They reportedly stayed at the five-star Park Hyatt Hotel.

"We had a wonderful day in Vietnam," Pitt told reporters.

On Friday, they paid a surprise visit to Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, where they passed out toys and candy to children and had lunch, the institution's director told the Saigon Giai Phong newspaper.

The couple reportedly departed Vietnam on Saturday. They were believed to be returning to Cambodia, where they made an unannounced visit earlier in the week.

Last Wednesday, Pitt and Jolie toured a former Khmer Rouge death camp, which is now a genocide museum. Jolie also met with government officials to discuss a forest conservation project to which she has pledged $1.3 million over five years.

Pitt, Jolie and their three children, Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh, have been in India for several weeks, where Jolie has been filming A Mighty Heart.

Though their bodyguards have made headlines on several occasions for their allegedly over-aggressive tactics while protecting the celeb duo, they were apparently on their best behavior over the holiday weekend, as no incidents were reported in Vietnam.
