May 19, Bones fans. That's the day where, according to the finale title, a change in the game is coming.
That could be any dizzying array of plot points or new storylines for any of the characters, so we understand your want (or your need) for someone to shed some light on what's going down in the season finale. Luckily, David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel and Hart Hanson are here to help us out...
Fox Renews Bones for Seventh Season

UPDATE: Fox has renewed Bones for a seventh season, it was announced today by Fox boss Kevin Reilly.
Just because we don't have the official annoucement yet, it doesn't mean we can't celebrate some good Bones news! And the news comes in the form of a tweet from star David Boreanaz.
David tweeted Monday night: "Season 7 is GO for Bones." Now, we weren't that worried about Bones' renewal chances, but it was still nice to see one of the faces of the show telling the world that we'll be getting another season. Plus, the Paley Center for Media is hosting "An Evening with Bones" next week, and those events are usually for, you know, shows that will also air next season. Among other shows being honored by Paley: Fringe, Southland, Melissa & Joey, and Falling Skies. But more on all that coverage later.
Thought they won't officially confirm to us yet, we've got a good feeling that Fox will be making the pickup official some time on Tuesday. Now we're just refreshing Hart Hanson's Twitter page to see if the man in charge will echo David's news. And for those keeping score, we are still waiting for any news on an official pickup for House.
Emily Deschanel Expecting! Will Art Imitate Life on Bones?

Congratulations are in order! The lovely and talented Emily Deschanel and her husband David Homsby (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) are expecting their first child, her reps confirm to E! News.
Now that we've got the real-life happiness out of the way, we wouldn't be a TV column if we didn't at least consider what Emily's joyful condition could mean for her character on Bones, Dr. "Bones" Brennan. More importantly, how will it impact the never-ending will they/won't they debacle of Bones-Booth (David Boreanaz) relationship? We went right to Fox to bug them such questions…
Bones Is Back! Prepare for Some Sniping…and a Girlfight?

TV Update: Is Fox Building a Bones Spinoff?

• Bones Spinoff: Don't worry, Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) aren't going anywhere, but Bones executive producers, including Hart Hanson, are working on a spinoff with new characters. According to Deadline, the new series would be based on The Locator books and be launched out of a December episode of the existing series.
