Billy Bob's a Daddy Again
Billy Bob Thornton has added another offspring to his brood.
The thesp and gal-pal Connie Angland are the proud parents of a baby girl named Bella, Thornton's publicist announced Wednesday.
It's the fourth child for Thornton, 49, who has three children from two previous marriages (he's been married five times in all), and the first for Angland, 39.
The baby weighed in at 6 pounds, 1 1/2 ounces. Both mother and child were said to be doing well.
The couple announced the pregnancy in April; it's unclear when they began seeing each other.
In addition to diaper duty, Thornton has a full production schedule ahead.
Next up, he'll star in Friday Night Lights as a football coach in the economically depressed town of Odessa, Texas. The film is due out next month.
He'll also appear in the comedy Ice Harvest with John Cusack about a lawyer who attempts to swindle a local mafia family at Christmas time. The film is expected in theaters next year.
Thornton has also signed on for a remake of the 1976 cult classic Bad News Bears, as interpreted by the team behind last year's crass Christmas hit Bad Santa, also starring Thornton. He'll reprise the role of crusty baseball coach Morris Buttermaker, originally played by Walter Matthau. The film is due out in 2006.
The Sling Blade star is also set to appear in the upcoming films Fade Out with Kate Beckinsale and Milla Jovovich and Mr. Woodcock, in which he'll play the title role.
Thornton's last, highly publicized marriage to Angelina Jolie ended in divorce in 2003, shortly after the couple
These days, Jolie has sole custody of son Maddox and has had a tattoo reading "Billy Bob" removed from her bicep.
