Is Bigger Better?

Sienna Miller, Vogue Magazine Mario Testino for Vogue Magazine

Before the leaves change colors and temperatures begin to drop, there's one other important harbinger of fall: September fashion magazines. Each year, Vogue releases its "Biggest Issue Ever," and weighing in at five pounds (September 2006 was a mere four pounds), this year's issue lives up to the headline. But after you're done with all 840 pages of "Fearless Fashion," what do you do with something the size of a biology textbook?

We've thought of some useful ways to recycle your Vogue:
  • Weight training. After all, is there anything more motivating than a bunch of emaciated models in pretty clothes?
  • Use as a weapon. The magazine is the perfect weight to cause serious damage if anyone tries to take off with your It bag from page 811.
  • Line a birdcage. Or rather, every bird, guinea pig and rat cage within a 50-mile radius of your home.
  • Build an origami fighting machine that will face off against the Elleiminator and the Bazaaro Monster. Given Condé Nast's resources, this thing could probably defeat Optimus Prime.
  • Construct a Sienna Miller and Plum Sykes shrine. Anna Wintour has certainly provided us with the necessary materials to worship her favorite British crushes.
  • Read the articles...kidding!
