Another tough week to make box-office predictions. If Rush Hour 3 grossed $25 million or $75 million, I don't think I'd be surprised either way.
The Rush Hour flicks have grown progressively since they began nine years ago, but with Bourne still putting up big numbers, and Stardust set to not completely flop, I feel like there's a lot of competition and not enough money to go around.
And in recent years, New Line has had some trouble opening hyped up films (Snakes on a Plane ring a bell?). So, that said, I'm going with a cool $55.6 million. That's still a big, big number, one that could ensure a fourth Rush Hour film should Chris Tucker want to work again sometime in the next five years.
