Barack Obama had some fun at the White House Tuesday—at David Beckham's expense!

The president welcomed the 38-year-old soccer star and the Los Angeles Galaxy to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for a celebration of the team's third Major League Soccer Cup.

Obama, 50, took aim at Beckham's age and his absolutely unbelievable bod.

"We have a young up-and-comer on the team, a guy named David Beckham," Obama quipped. "I have to say I gave David a hard time—I said half his teammates could be his kids. We're getting old, David. Although you're holding up better than me."

The president then recounted some of Beckham's setbacks last year—a fractured spine and injured hamstring before the championship game—and deemed Victoria Beckham's hubby "tough."

"In fact, it is a rare man who can be that tough on the field and also have his own line of underwear," Obama said, referencing Beckham's eponymous bodywear line for H&M. "David Beckham is that man."
