Turns out it's not easy being a Victoria's Secret Angel.
Despite the fact that Heidi Klum, Karolina Kurkova and Alessandria Ambrosia hit the runway looking amazingly hot in the skimpiest lingerie ever and make it look effortless, a lot of hard work goes into getting so gorgeous.
Six hours before the big VS show, it's organized chaos backstage, jammed with jumbo curlers, hair spray galore, fake eyelashes and...food?
Yes, the Angels actually eat. Miranda Kerr snacked on scrambled eggs and mixed greens as she got her hair done.
But they're super careful about what they eat...and they work out a lot. Just ask Alessandria, who had a baby two months ago and is already back to her fabulous figure.
"I was doing 45 minutes of cardio everyday and working out with a trainer," says the new mom. "I couldn’t have the crazy diets, the liquid ones or the 1,000 calories a day because I was breastfeeding. I think breastfeeding actually helps you to lose some weight."
Adriana Lima said a month before the show that she works out at least two hours a day! "I have a balanced diet...lots of protein, no carbs, no sugar," she said. As for the her first indulgence once the show's over? "Dessert…forget about champagne. The first thing I will have is chocolate cake!"
As for Heidi's routine on show day, getting her beauty rest is key. She slept in and was the last model to arrive for hair and makeup.
