The Bachelor's Chris Harrison is adjusting to his new life as a bachelor.

The affable host shocked fans earlier this month after announcing that he and his wife of 18 years, Gwen Jones, were separating.

Harrison, who's overseen 16 seasons of the hit show and its spinoffs, is no stranger to eyeballing second stabs at love (see: Brad Womack, Jake Pavelka, Ben Flajnik). But when it comes to his own newly single life, he's taking things slow.

The 40-year-old host chatted with E! News about his fears about bachelorhood, his relationship with his ex, and whether or not marriage is in the cards for him again someday.

Sarah Silverman Slams "Offensive" Female Bachelor Contestants on Behalf of Womankind

Sarah Silverman, The Bachelor Valerie Macon/Getty Images

It's probably safe to say that reality shows do not comprise the majority of Sarah Silverman's viewing schedule. But there seems to be no show that sticks in the comic's craw more than The Bachelor.

While being interviewed on the premiere episode of Amanda de Cadenet's The Conversation last night, Silverman slammed the women who choose to compete on the love-seeking reality show, calling the enterprise "offensive" and degrading.

And that was just her warming up.

Rejected Bachelor Candidates File Class-Action Lawsuit Against Series for Racial Discrimination

THE BACHELOR, BEN FLAJNIK, COURTNEY ROBERTSON ABC/NICK RAY

Forget the final rose. ABC's Bachelor and Bachelorette shows have been served with a class-action lawsuit.

On Wednesday, Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson filed the suit against the dating competition series, three production companies behind the show and executive producer Mike Fleiss for racial discrimination.

The plaintiffs state that in a combined 23 seasons of the shows, not one featured Bachelor or Bachelorette has been a person of color.

In a press conference, Claybrooks and Johnson, who are both African-American, claimed they are single, not married and "looking for love." They both auditioned in August 2011 but never made it to the second round of interviews…

ABC's Bachelor and Bachelorette certainly have always featured colorful casts, but they haven't showcased very many people of color.

And the show's racially homogeneous makeup hasn't gone unnoticed. A group of Nashville residents, led by football players Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson, announced in a press release that they plan to file a class-action lawsuit Wednesday against the dating competition shows for racial discrimination.

Bachelor star Ben Flajnik and fiancée Courtney Robertson aren't in any race to the altar.

So True? So False? Did The Bachelor's Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson Move In Together?!

So True So False, STSF

Enough of the drama (for now).

The Bachelor is over, Ben Flajnik picked Courtney Robertson and regardless of their rollercoaster relationship since the show aired, the duo are now a happy and engaged couple...who are also moving in together?

It wouldn't be out of the ordinary, especially since the lovebirds are planning to walk down the aisle together, but when Us Weekly (who Flajnik calls "shady") reported that Ben and Court were shacking up, we thought it was kinda fast. Too fast, maybe?

Don't these reality-show couples usually have some time to get back into, well, reality before making any sudden decisions?

Hang on to your roses, neighbors, because this rumor is...

What's the best way to distract skeptics?

Blind them with bling!

Canny timing for the big reveal, Courtney!
