Tom & Nicole: When will we know the truth?

Are we going to have to wait until Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise are dead before we find out what really ended that marriage?
—Kate N., Cape May, New Jersey

The B!tch Replies:  Longer than that, I'm afraid. Unless Tom, for some bizarre reason, opts not to have his head cryonically preserved for future resurrection. Which segues me oh so nicely into an ever popular Lightning Round...

Where are Britney's mother and father in all of this, and do you believe they should be more involved with helping their daughter?
—Bonnie, Stuart, Florida

You assume that Britney is returning their calls. And that Britney knows how to make calls.

Studios sometimes opt for limited releases to gauge audience appeal before deciding where else to release it. Or the filmmakers may just want make a small theatrical debut to qualify the project for the Oscars.

Do you see celebs around if you walk around Hollywood?
—Jade, Sydney, Australia

Yes. We sometimes also drive. I once cruised past a mall and saw Spike Lee standing on a street corner; he looked even more like an annoyed praying mantis than usual.

All right, so Kayne West has beaten 50 Cent in the charts. Will Fiddy uphold his promise and leave the music business for good?
—Laura, Cochrane, Ontario

No such luck. Part of Fiddy's challenge requires Kanye to suffer a steep drop in second-week sales: "Watch the first week, and then watch the second week," Fiddy's challenge on SOHH.com states. "Watch his [expletive] drop off the planet. We keep our angles covered before we make a decent bet."

How are the ratings for Gossip Girl?
—Ashley, Gilroy, California

They are fine. The premiere did better than the first episodes of The O.C. or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, garnering about 3.7 million viewers.

Hi, you are lovely, witty and spicy.
—Arthur, Miami, Florida

Yes, and don't forget accurate and prolific, with subtle notes of blackberry jam and coriander.
