Ashley Tisdale Breaks Up With Music Video Director Boyfriend

As the year comes to an end, so does the High School Musical star's relationship of over two years.
E! News confirms that Ashley Tisdale and her 29-year-old boyfriend Scott Speer have split.

Speer is a music video director from San Diego who has won awards for his work with Switchfoot and Belinda (a Latin artist). He's also worked with Paris Hilton, Jordin Sparks, David Archuleta, Blake Shelton and, of course, his now-ex-girlfriend Tisdale.
The duo began dating in spring of 2009 shortly after the Disney star had broken up with V Factory (who Speer has also worked with) band member Jared Murillo.
A source told Us Weekly, "They had been on and off for a while. They tried to work it out but realized their relationship ran its course."
But judging from Tisdale's latest tweets, we're thinking something shady might have happened.

"What goes around comes back around," Ashley tweeted a few days ago, and then the next day, Tisdale posted a photo on her Twitter feed via Instagram with the caption, "Rocking out to Don't hold your breath by Nicole Sherzinger."
And the lyrics to this Scherzinger song go as follows, "You can't touch me now there's no feeling left/ If you think I'm coming back don't hold your breath/ What you did to me boy I can't forget/ If you think I'm coming back don't hold your breath..."
We're just sayin'. But whatever happened, the 26-year-old actress is now focusing on enjoying time with her "amazing" (and superhot) friends.
