Arson Nut Invades Beckham Estate
A gasoline-toting intruder threatened to turn up the heat at David and Victoria Beckham's English estate.
The onetime Spice Girl was home alone with her two kids, Brooklyn and Romeo, when the unidentified man, carrying a can of gasoline and a crowbar, was busted after scaling a seven-foot security wall Sunday night, the Sun newspaper reports.
According to the British tab, the man's intended victim was David. Maybe he should have called first--the soccer star was in Spain training with his Real Madrid teammates.

A security team, who tracked the 38-year-old man's movements on a video camera, tackled him as he approached the mansion, dubbed Beckingham Palace, and kept him in custody until authorities and a helicopter arrived on the scene.
Police then arrested the man on suspicion of possessing an article intended to cause criminal damage. The alleged intruder, who was also suspected of drug possession, was later released on bail and ordered to report to a local police station Sept. 24.
Following the bust, the erstwhile Posh Spice beat a hasty retreat to her parents' nearby home.
The Beckhams are purported to have spent a fortune rigging their home with an extensive security system a couple of years ago after a plot to kidnap Victoria and her kids was uncovered in November 2002.
Charges against the would-be kidnappers were later dropped when prosecutors discovered that their key witness had received $16,000 from a British tab for his version of the Posh-napping plot.
