The Real Housewives of New York City did some major spring cleaning last week, clearing room for some shiny new castmembers.

So who will fill the spots vacated by Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Cindy Barshop and and Alex McCord (and, by extension, unofficial Housewife No. 6 Simon Van Kempen)?

They are New York City socialites Heather Thomson, Carole Radziwill and Aviva Drescher, per the New York Daily News.

Carole, a widow, was related by marriage to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and friendly with the late John F. Kennedy Jr.'s wife, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. She's also an author and a former ABC News producer, working with Diane Sawyer.

Heather, a mom of two, is a clothing designer who created Yummie Tummie shapewear (one of Oprah's favorite things).

Aviva is the only bona fide "housewife": She has three kids with husband Reid Drescher, a bigwig Wall Street investment banker.

Last week, a source close to the show told E! News that two of Bravo's new-hires are friendly with remaining castmembers Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps and that the women start taping very soon.

"Bravo found new women," said the source. "Ramona knows these women—she introduced them to Bravo. The Countess knows two as well. They wanted real New York society women, people who live in fabulous townhouses.

"They wanted to bring the fabulousness of Beverly Hills to New York. They want it glossier and more glamorous," said the source.

And while the new trio seem to fit the stylish bill, a rep for Bravo tells E! News they "have not announced any women yet."

We're sure whomever they choose will bring the drama.
