Another Britney Meltdown Gives Dr. Phil More Material

Remember when Dr. Phil showed up the last time Britney was hospitalized and freaked out the ailing pop tart, forcing her to flee to an underground tunnel? Yeah, us, too.
In fact, Dr. Phil must be the only one who doesn't recall how horribly that all ended, because the big dope is running his mouth again.
Just after admitting regret over speaking publicly about Britney and then having to defend himself against Matt Lauer's pesky questions, he freely offered up his opinion on the latest development in the story.
He told the ladies of The View that he is not surprised at all she's back in the hospital—and if Brit's "on the road to getting some intervention, that could be a good thing."
The point he made sure to stress repeatedly was, "All I've tried to do in this situation is help and provide some help." Aw, what a good guy. He doesn't care one bit about ratings for his daytime talk show.
We're not surprised she's back in the hospital either, and we also agree it could be a good thing—but let us provide some help to Dr. Phil in his current situation: ix-nay on the itney-Bray.
