Anne Hathaway: Why Is the Actress Wearing a Cast?!

Star is spotted with what appears to be an injured right arm while strolling through New York City

Ouch!

Naturally, that was our first thought when we happened to catch Anne Hathaway out and about the Big Apple today with what appears to be a cast on her right arm.

So what happened?

Well, that's a very good question.

E! News has yet to hear back from the star's rep with a possible explanation.

Fortunately though, the actress is also sporting a smile along with that sling, so whatever the reason, hopefully it isn't too bad!
