Aniston House Crasher Jail Bound
Here's one unwanted friend that won't be visiting Jennifer Aniston for a long while.
David Hesterbey, a transient who broke into Aniston's Malibu digs in August, pleaded no contest Tuesday to one burglary count stemming from the house-crashing. In turn, Van Nuys Superior Court Judge Karen Nudell sentenced him to one year in jail and five years' probation, and ordered him to keep away from the actress for the next decade.
Hesterbey must also undergo psychological counseling.
The 49-year-old homeless man was charged with felony burglary and petty theft after paying an unannounced visit to the actress' rented abode Aug. 25.
He arrived via taxi--allegedly stiffing the driver on a $250 fare. He then scaled a nine-foot fence and entered the home through an unlocked door. Upon encountering one of The Good Girl star's employees, he explained that he was "looking for Jennifer" and that "Jennifer Aniston told me to come here," the actress' camp said in court papers. When a second employee confronted him, Hesterbey fled the residence and headed for the beach, according to officials.
Police arrived shortly thereafter and found the man wandering the sand near the house, where he was arrested.
Aniston wasn't at home at the time--she was on location in Chicago filming The Break Up with Vince Vaughn.
In September, the actress was granted a restraining order barring Hesterbey from coming within 100 yards of her home and her vehicle, for three years. That order was extended to a full 10 years on Tuesday.
Aniston, who was not in court for the sentencing, is also nowhere near her Malibu beach house these days.
She is hitting the talk-show circuit in New York in support of her latest flick, Derailed with Clive Owen. The film is set for release Nov. 11.
