Goooood morning, Vietnam!

For the first time since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie adopted Pax four years ago, the superstar brood touched down in their son's native country Thursday night. Lucky foro celeb watchers the world over, the eight-strong unit didn't even attempt to keep a low-profile on their trip and by Friday were already seen out and about Ho Chi Minh City.

So, what'd this famous fam get up to?

The family flew into Vietnam directly from Tokyo yesterday (with an assist from a gaggle of stuffed animals), where Brangelina turned the Moneyball red carpet into a master class in minimalist chic.

While the family has obviously not filled the media in on their travel plans, according to the local VNExpress newspaper the Jolie-Pitts are expected to hit up Con Dao once they've got their fill of the country's largest city. Con Dao is a popular vacation destination on Vietnam's southern coast.

Shortly after their landing yesterday, Angelina, decked out in a one-shoulder flowy blue dress, was photographed treating Pax—who is 7 years old, but who hasn't been back to his homeland since he was 3—to some quality family time, as she and Brad—donning a super cool white T-shirt and jacket—along with siblings Maddox, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne and Knox were all spotted having lunch at what the photography agency described as a "rustic restaurant" (looked pretty standard to us) in the city before further exploring the area together.

For her part, Angelina has long touted the importance of keeping her children in touch with their roots and heritage, and it's nice to see her put her money (and frequent flier miles) where her mouth has been.
