Anderson Cooper was about to get waxed, so he invited Kathy Griffin to be there.

"You should know, I have one as well," she informed him.

Wait, close your mouths. We mean, Griffin was on hand for the big reveal of a brand-new wax figure of the CNN anchor and Anderson host, which is destined for Madame Tussauds in NYC but was unveiled today on the second episode of his new talk show.

"Wow...that is really creepy!" Cooper exclaimed. "Is that what I look like?!"

"Yes, this is what you look like when you're laughing," Griffin deadpanned, pointing to the über-serious, face sported by Cooper's suit-wearing doppelgänger, which took craftsmen in London three months to make.

"It's a little freaky to see this, I gotta say," Cooper said, laughing. "I look kinda like a jerk!"

"No, you're totally approachable," Griffin reassured him.

Cooper said that the waxwork team took 250 images of him to get everything right, from the color of his teeth to the color of his eyes—which contain three different shades of blue, by the way.

Griffin sure appreciated that piercing gaze: "I love that he's giving you the 'Blue Steel,'" she said.
