Amanda Bynes Wasn't Fired From Her Last Movie

Amanda Bynes was not too cool for school.

The newly retired actress' rep tells E! News that Bynes was not kicked off of the Owen Wilson-Christina Applegate comedy Hall Pass because of bad behavior, as reports have suggested.

Nor did her agent arrange a "mini-intervention" for the 24-year-old starlet.

"Both reports are false," the rep said. "Amanda left Hall Pass due to a scheduling conflict." The official word from the studio is that they "mutually agreed" to part ways exactly for that reason.

But judging by Bynes' recent tweets, the work was mainly conflicting with her fun time.

"Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem," she wrote on Twitter Saturday, announcing her withdrawal from the thespian world. "If I don't love something, I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore, so I've stopped doing it."

Already in the can for the baby-faced Bynes is another high school comedy, Easy A, due out Sept. 17, just in time for back-to-school season.
