You can be an Angel and PETA will still come after if you they feel necessary.

Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio was on the receiving end of some hot water from the animal rights organization after they learned that she dyed her puppy's fur pink and purple.

PETA addressed the situation to E! News in a statement saying, "What most people don't know is that dyeing a companion animal's fur can cause the animal stress and can lead to complications or allergic reactions that endanger the animal's health. Our dogs and cats love us regardless of how we look; why not extend the same kindness to them?"

The mother of two isn't the first celeb to get blasted by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals for dyeing her pooch, however they didn't seem to scold one particular starlet that got color happy with their pup. Instead, she became a spokesperson!

Hmmm...
