Due to his shocking rejection on The Bachelorette last season, he is now The Bachelor, with 25 lovely ladies vying for his bachelory charms on last night's premiere episode.
Surprisingly, among the 10 contestants eliminated was Cambodian fever-carrier Channy, whose romantic invitation in her lilting native tongue crashed and burned.
If only she'd asked him to grab her flotation device.
