Just days after The Avengers kicked major butt in the box office, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced the company is moving full speed ahead on Avengers 2.
And we're guessing it wasn't a tough call.
Considering the superhero-laden movie grossed a record-breaking $207.4 million domestically in its opening weekend, it seemed like only a matter of time before we got word of a sequel.
The success of The Avengers thus far "is a great illustration of why we like Marvel so much," Iger said.
But that's not all the Mouse House has in store.
Iger also mentioned fans can expect Avengers attractions to appear at Disney theme parks in the near future as wel.
