Rejoice, agents!

The CW has renewed spy drama Nikita for a third season! Go on, we'll give you a moment to squeal, dance, karate-kick a piece of wood, whatever floats your boat. Want even more awesome news? The network is also bringing back freshman series Hart of Dixie. Wheee!

OK, are you back? Good. So what is Nikita's creator and cast saying about the good news? And which shows were canceled?

Sorry, Sarah Michelle Gellar fans, but her freshman drama Ringer has been canceled by the CW. A moment of silence for the end of Buffy's return to TV, yo!

Spells couldn't save The Secret Circle, which ended its first-season run last night on a creative high, unbinding the core circle of witches, killing the big bad and setting up several storylines for a hoped-for second season.

Now, onward with the good news!

"Um, don't know if y'all are interested but Nikita season 3 is ON!!!," creator Craig Silverstein tweeted, while star Lyndsy Fonseca said, "IT'S OFFICIAL! Nikita Season 3 here we come!"

While the Maggie Q and Shane West starrer has struggled in the ratings (a move to Friday night can do that to a show), Nikita has remained one of the CW's most critically beloved series.

Receiving a second season with Rachel Bilson's charming medical dramedy Hart of Dixie, which also stars Scott Porter and Wilson Bethel.

The CW recently renewed The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and 90210 and picked up five pilots, including Cult, Carrie Diaries, Arrow, Beauty and the Beast and First Cut.
