Screech's Latest Electrifying Screwup

Let's call this case Screech Unplugged.

After resorting to hawking a sex tape and T-shirts to keep his house, Dustin Diamond is now having issues kepping the lights on.

The erstwhile Saved By the Bell goofball is being sued by an energy company for failing to pay a $2,000-plus utility bill for his Milkwaukee-area residence, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The lawsuit, filed in Ozaukee County Circuit Court, alleges Diamond was very inefficient when it came to paying for his electricity use up through Feb, 4, forcing plaintiff We Energies to take him to small claims court.

Diamond, who hasn't commented on his latest tale of woe, has until April 15 to respond to the claim.

Of course, things have been much worse for the Screechster.

The 32-year-old entertainer was facing foreclosure on his house back in 2006 after he defaulted on a loan. Hoping to dig himself out of the hole, Diamond began selling autographed tees through his website with the tagline "I paid $15.00 to save Screech's house."

The foreclosure order was eventually dismissed when the actor obtained a new $284,000 adjustable-rate mortgate, thus sparing him from near-homelessness and the world at large from more Screech sex tapes.
