Rachael Ray Is Still on Fire

Don't stick a fork in Rachael Ray's talk show yet.
The celebrity cook’s peeps are stewing over a new report that her daytime show is done.
“We’re all still here," Ray's executive producer Janet Annino told her staff this morning. "The reports of our death have been greatly exaggerated.”
The New York Post’s Page Six reported that insiders said Ray’s contract will not be renewed because of poor ratings and her expensive set.
A rep for the show insisted to me this morning that daily viewership has risen since this time last season.
In any case, you can put this controversy on simmer. CBS Television Distribution announced in January 2007 that the series had been renewed for at least two more seasons through 2009-10.
