When there's not one but two Middleton sisters in attendance at a wedding, is there really any chance the bride's not going to get overshadowed?

One friend of the royals found out this weekend, when both Pippa and Kate Middleton—accompanied by their respective dates, Alex Loudon and, of course, Prince William—donned their sure-to-be copied Sunday best and turned up at the vow swapping of a pal in the picturesque English countryside.

So, who was the pal with the enviable Rolodex? And what, oh what, did Kate wear?

Well, first things first: Kate arrived sans her Prince Duke Charming to the ceremony, as he had to arrive earlier in the day to prepare for his role as usher at the high society (as if that weren't obvious by the guest list) wedding of pals Thomas Sutton and Harriet Colthurst.

Which left Kate to arrive in all her finery at the St. Mary and St. Nicholas Church in Wilton, Wiltshire, alongside her triple-barreled pal Louise Aubrey-Fletcher.

Despite several early misidentifications of her outfit, she wore a pair of 4 1/2-inch Prada black pumps (though some ID'd the shoes as her trusty L.K. Bennett's, the distinctive gold logo proves otherwise), which are still available for a cool $720, and a knee-length rich red lace dress, the Red French Floral Lace Dress, by one of her favorite designers, Collette Dinnigan.

She accessorized by carrying the Eaton clutch from Aspinal, which runs in the vicinity of $400 (though her solid black version is no longer available). And while her fascinator resembles the red maple lead number she wore for Canada Day, it is not the same, though it is a similar style.

As for Pippa, who for once earned more headlines on the other side of the pond for her appearance with beau Alex than her sister Kate, she wore a silk floral dress by Project D (Danni Minogue's line...take that, Posh), black heels and fascinator. Her date wore the traditional tails.

After the ceremony, Will and Kate quietly slipped out through the rear of the church so as not to detract attention from the bride and groom, as Will drove the couple to the nearby reception in his Audi.

As for those headlines, they were garnered thanks to this being the sixth wedding she and Loudon have attended together this summer alone, sparking speculation that they may be next down the aisle. Is the world ready for another royal(ish) wedding?

Do you even have to ask?
