Lou Diamond's La Bambina
Lou Diamond Phillips has a new lady in his life.
The La Bamba star and his wife, makeup artist Yvonne Marie, welcomed a baby girl, Indigo Sanara, on Oct. 9, his rep said.
It is the first child for the couple, who wed in August. Phillips also has three daughters from a previous marriage.
Before tying the knot, the couple went through a decidedly rough patch, with Phillips pleading no contest to domestic battery in December 2006 following a heated squabble.
As a result of the plea, he was ordered to complete one year of domestic violence counseling and 200 hours of community service and was placed on three years' probation.
Though he was also ordered to keep his distance from Yvonne, the two ultimately reconciled.
They wed Aug. 16, just two weeks after Phillips' divorce from his second wife, Kelly Preston (no relation to Mrs. John Travolta), was finalized.
Apart from pulling diaper duty, Phillips has several projects in the works, per imdb.com, including the horror film The Conjuring, opposite Pam Grier.
His most recent credits include a recurring role on CBS' Numb3rs.
