Hugh Hefner wasn't kidding when he said Lindsay Lohan's Playboy issue would be released early.

Just a day after photos from the January-February issue of the mag leaked online Friday, the magazine posted the issue on its website and pushed up the newsstand release date to Dec. 16.

The Mean Girls starlet pays tribute to her idol Marilyn Monroe in the 10-page nude spread, recreating Monroe's iconic December 1953 Playboy pictorial.

But the sultry photos aren't all that's included in the Lohan-featured spread.

The embattled actress, who's also featured on the cover, dishes on the lessons she's learned in the past five years, as well as her sexuality and the paparazzi's "fascination" with her life.

"Ultimately we are each responsible for ourselves and for our actions…Looking back, I probably would have listened to and taken more advice from the people whom I admire and would have followed through with it more," Lohan says. "My stubbornness at 18 and 19 years old got in the way. During the past five years, I've learned that time flies faster than you think, and because you only live once you have to learn from your mistakes, live your dreams and be accountable."

As for her sexuality, Lohan says, "Sex and sexuality are a part of nature, and I go along with nature. I think Marilyn Monroe once said that. I certainly agree with her…knowing yourself and your body is so important because it gives you confidence, and in life, women need confidence."

"It's a very male-dominated world to begin with, so knowing yourself and being comfortable with your body is an important thing for me as a woman," Lohan continues. "Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but this is mine."

Speaking of opinions, Lohan has received her fair share regarding her various shenanigans this year.

So what does she think of all the attention she's received?

"I have no idea why there is this fascination with everything I do," Lohan says. "I suppose it is all part of this trend of people wanting to know every single detail of a celebrity's life. I mean, once we get to the point where magazines are doing pictorials on my wardrobe to court, that's just so unimportant."

We want to know…what do you think about Lindsay's Playboy debut?
